On a beautiful fall day, Amtrak 29 heads west into the setting sun at HO Tower. The superliners were a perfect match for the sun, which cast a warm, orange glow onto the Chicago bound train.

The yard in Hancock has often been fairly empty in recent years, but today a work train joins PPGX 3356 and other freight cars on a snowy weekend.

It seems that the seasons and the years go by but the caboose and the tree are always at the yard in Hancock.
